Apple Removes USB C Cable from AirPods 4 Wireless Earbuds Box
This information is confirmed on Apple’s official AirPods comparison webpage, which lists a USB-C charging cable for the AirPods 4 model to be sold separately. Apple has recently started providing USB Type C port in all its devices and now it is removing the supporting cable. Usually some users may already have one or more USB-C cables.
But what about those upgrading from older devices or new users starting in the Apple ecosystem. This means they will have to make an additional purchase to charge and use the AirPods. Now Apple may take the step of not providing a cable with the iPhone as well. Apple’s argument behind this may be that they are being environmentally conscious by reducing packaging waste.
