HMD Hyper could be an upcoming smartphone from the Finnish company. Ahead of the launch, the specifications of the smartphone have leaked online, revealing that it could come with a 120Hz OLED display and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Apart from this, the alleged render of the handset that surfaced recently also revealed its design. It appears that it could bring some design elements from the Nokia Lumia series.

The smartphone is said to feature an OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full-HD+ resolution. At the same time, the HMD Hyper may have a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 13-megapixel secondary sensor, and an 8-megapixel tertiary camera. A 50-megapixel selfie shooter is said to be available on the front.

The camera system can offer video recording at up to 4K resolution and up to 30 frames per second (fps). Users may also be able to shoot in 1080p 60fps resolution. The HMD Hyper can be launched with Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. It can be paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. According to the tipster, the phone can get a 4,700mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

The renders of the smartphone suggest that its design could be inspired by the Nokia Lumia 920, with a Vivid Yellow panel. It is said to have a flat, boxy frame with a rounded display with black bezels. It appears that the power and volume buttons will be placed on the right side. The back of the handset may have HMD branding along with the rear camera module at the top left.
