Ola Electric Launches Electric Motorcycle Roadster, Initial Price Rs74,999, Up to 579 Km Range

Ola Electric, one of the major electric two-wheeler companies, launched its first electric motorcycle Roadster on Thursday on the occasion of Independence Day. Roadster, Roadster Pro and Roadster X have been introduced in the company’s electric motorcycle series.

The price of Roadster X is Rs 74,999 for a 2.5 kWh battery pack. It can reach a speed of 0-40 km/h in about 2.8 seconds. Its top speed is around 124 km/h. Ola Electric has claimed its range to be around 200 km on a single charge. It has a 4.3-inch touchscreen. Booking has started for this. Its delivery will be done early next year. The price of the 2.5 kWh battery pack variant of the Roadster of this motorcycle series is Rs 1,04,999, Rs 1,19,999 for 4.5 kWh and Rs 1,39,999 for the 6 kWh variant. It can reach a speed of 0-40 km/h in 2.2 seconds. Its top speed is 126 km/h. Its range is claimed to be around 579 km on a single charge. It has a 7 inch touchscreen.

The Roadster Pro of this electric motorcycle series can reach a speed of 0.40 km/h in just 1.2 seconds. Its top speed is around 194 km/h and the range on a single charge is around 579 km. It has a 10-inch touchscreen. The price of the 8 kWh battery variant of the Roadster Pro is Rs 1,99,999 and the 16 KWH variant is Rs 2,49,999. The delivery of this electric motorcycle will start by Diwali next year.

Along with this, Ola Electric has said that the feature of group navigation has been added to Ola Maps. The company’s sales have increased by about 57 percent in the first quarter of the current financial year. The company’s sales in the first half of this calendar year have been more than two lakh units. It has become the first electric two-wheeler company to reach this figure in such a short period. Last month, the company updated its S1 X electric scooter with new features. These features include Find My Scooter and Vacation Mode. This electric scooter will not have to be taken to the service center for software updates.
