The report quoted sources as saying that these smartphones can be manufactured at Apple’s contract manufacturer Foxconn’s Tamil Nadu factory. Over the years, the company has increased its manufacturing in the country. The iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max may have support for 40 W wired charging and 20 W wireless charging using MagSafe. The iPhone 15 series featured a USB Type-C port. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro had support for a peak charging speed of 27 W with a compatible USB charger.
