Tata Curvv EV Launched: Tata’s new electric car (EV) ‘Tata Curvv EV’ has been launched in India. This EV, which comes in two battery options, is claimed to offer a MIDC (Modified Indian Driving Cycle) range of 585 km on a single charge. It can accelerate from 0 to 100kph in 8.6 seconds. Tata Curvv EV has been launched in several models. It also has a panoramic sunroof. According to reports, Tata Curvv EV will compete with MG ZS EV, let’s know its price and detailed features.

Tata Curvv EV Price in India

The price of Tata Curvv EV is between Rs 17.49 lakh and Rs 21.99 lakh. It comes in five variants, of which the price of Creative starts at Rs 17.49 lakh. It will be available in 45kWh battery option. Tata Curvv EV Accomplished variant has been launched in 45kWh and 55kWh battery options. The prices are Rs 18.49 lakh and Rs 19.25 lakh. In Accomplished+ S variant, this EV can be purchased in 45kWh and 55kWh battery options. The prices are Rs 19.29 lakh and Rs 19.99 lakh. 55kWh battery is available with Empowered+ variant. The price is Rs 21.25 lakh. Empowered+ A variant also has a 55kWh battery. The price is Rs 21.99 lakh.

Tata Curvv EV Features

EV vehicles are judged by their range. Tata Curvv EV claims that its variants with 45kWh battery can offer MIDC range of 502 km in a single charge, while the MIDC range of the variant with 55kWh battery can go up to 585km in a single charge. The company is estimating a range of 330 to 425 km.

All variants of the Tata Curvv EV have a 167hp electric motor installed on the front axle. It is also being said that this EV can accelerate from 0-100kph in 8.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 160kph.

The company is claiming that the Tata Curvv EV can be charged for 15 minutes on a 70kW charger and can travel up to 150 km. It can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 40 minutes. Its ground clearance is 190mm.

The interior of the Tata Curvv EV is similar to its Curvv model. The dashboard of the car looks like Tata’s Nexon. It has a boot space of 500 liters.

The front seats of the car are adjustable. There is a 45W Type-C charging port in the front and rear. There are features of panoramic sunroof, gesture control. Top models have JBL sound system. The new Tata EV comes with six airbags.
