Google to Offer Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL With LTPO Display in India

American technology company Google’s Pixel 9 series was launched earlier this week. The base model of this series, Pixel 9, has an Actua OLED display. Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL have LTPO Super Actua display. The Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL sold in the country were listed with non-LTPO display.

A report by GSMArena states that in India, Malaysia and Singapore, the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL were listed with different displays than in other regions. In India, Singapore and Malaysia, these Smartphones They were reportedly listed with Actua Display instead of Super Actua Display (LTPO). However, Google has since changed the display type of the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL to Super Actua Display in these regions.

Google’s Pixel 9 Pro features a 6.3-inch (1,280 x 2,856 pixels) Super Actua (LTPO) OLED display with a pixel density of 495 ppi, a peak brightness level of 3,000 nits, and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The Pixel 9 Pro XL features a 6.8-inch (1,344 x 2,992 pixels) SuperActua (LTPO) OLED display with a pixel density of 486 ppi, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and a peak brightness level of 3,000 nits.

Tensor G4 and Titan M2 security coprocessor have been given as processor in all three smartphones. Google has said that Pixel 8a will also be manufactured in the country. This smartphone was launched in May this year. It replaced Pixel 7a. Google has started manufacturing Pixel 8 in the country. The company has said that it will soon make Pixel 8a in the country as well. However, it is not known when the manufacturing of Pixel 8a will be started. This smartphone has been made available in four colors. Its 128 GB storage variant is priced at Rs 49,999 and 256 GB at Rs 56,999. The company’s international manufacturing unit Compal has tied up with Dixon Technologies for this. The initial capacity of its factory is about one lakh units per month. About 30 percent of this will be exported.
