Qualcomm announced Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 5G processor for entry level smartphones

Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 Soc announced : Our Android smartphones usually use processors from two companies, MediaTek and Qualcomm. Qualcomm has been an expert in this field, but for the past few years, MediaTek has introduced processors in different price categories, which have been readily accepted by phone companies. Amidst the challenge from MediaTek, Qualcomm has announced its new chipset. Its name is Snapdragon 4s Gen 2. It has been brought mainly for entry-level 5G devices. This mobile processor is a cheaper version of Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 which was launched last year!

According to reports, Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 will start shipping later this year. It can be given in devices priced around $ 100 i.e. Rs 8,375. According to reports, Xiaomi can be one of the first brands to use this processor for the Indian market. This means that we will see more cheap 5G smartphones being launched.

Snapdragon 4s Gen 2, also known as SM4635, is built on Samsung’s 4nm 4LPX process technology. It has Snapdragon 5G modem-RF system. It is claimed that this processor makes a phone capable of 1Gbps 5G speed, that is, one gets such fast download speed.

This processor supports full HD Plus display and HD Plus display with 90 Hz refresh rate. Features like Wi-Fi 5, WPA3, GPS are also the strength of this processor. Quick Charge 4 Plus technology is included in it, which means that the phone in which this chipset will be used will also get support for fast charging.

Talking about camera support, 16 MP + 16 MP dual cameras can be fitted in the phone with Snapdragon 4s Gen 2. This processor can capture a maximum of 108 MP photos, although it will be based on pixel binning technology.
