Ola Krutrim AI Chip Launch Set for 2026 Rivals Nvidia AMD Intel in Global Market

Ola Electric launched its first electric motorcycle in India on August 15. The Ola Electric Roadster lineup includes three models – Roadster, Roadster Pro and Roadster X. The company says that these models will be made available next year. In a statement to a media publication on the occasion of the launch, Ola CEO and co-founder said that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is very important for India. He said that in order to control technology in the coming times, the country needs to build the future on its own terms.

Bhavish Aggarwal spoke to TOI after the launch of the Ola Electric Roadster lineup about the importance of AI in India. Agarwal told That the country will have to move towards artificial technology to control technology. He also indicated that if this does not happen, foreign companies will continue to take advantage of Indian talent. He said in his statement, “Otherwise, we will remain a monthly active user farm for global companies.”

He has also revealed that his AI company Krutrim is working on building India’s first AI silicon chip by 2026. If successful, it will give Ola a chance to compete with companies like Nvidia, AMD and Intel. Ola has announced strategic partnerships with chip design company ARM and Canadian AI company Untether AI to build chips. Krutrim’s initial chips include Bodhi for AI, Sarv for basic computing and Ojas for heavy computing.

Earlier this year, the artificial AI was rolled out to users as part of a public beta. made available It gives users a chance to try out the latest AI-powered chatbots. Like other generative AI-based chatbots, it can answer questions, write essays, suggest recipes, and converse with users.

As we mentioned above, on Thursday, August 15, Ola Electric launched its first electric motorcycle lineup. This lineup includes Roadster, Roadster Pro and Roadster X. The most premium of these, the Roadster X, is priced at Rs 74,999 for a 2.5 kWh battery pack. It can reach a speed of 0-40 km/h in about 2.8 seconds. Its top speed is around 124 km/h. Ola Electric has claimed its range to be around 200 km on a single charge.

Roadster Pro can reach a speed of 0.40 km/h in just 1.2 seconds. Its top speed is around 194 km/h and the range on a single charge is around 579 km. Whereas, the original Roadster can reach a speed of 0-40 km/h in 2.2 seconds. Its top speed is 126 km/h. Its range on a single charge is claimed to be around 579 km.
